お正月しょうがつのあそび

お正月しょうがつには、いろいろな伝統的な遊でんとうてき　あそびがあります。

• かるた
• たこあげ
• 福笑ふくわらい
• 羽根はねつき

などがあります。

最近さいきんはあまり見みかけないかもしれません。
でも、いろいろな願ねがいや意味いみがある遊あそびです。

• 羽根はねつき：子こどもが病気びょうきにならないように
• たこあげ：たこに願ねがいをこめて、そら高たかく飛とばします。そして、成功せいこうを願ねがいます。

福笑ふくわらいはシンプルです。小さな子こどもも楽たのしくあそべます。

Although you may not come across kids playing them in recent years,
there are traditional games of the New Year such as;

• kite flying
• Karuta (card game)
• Fukuwarai (placing facial parts blind-folded)
• Hanetsuki (like badminton)

There are meanings attached to each of these games too, like hanetsuki; to rid evil spirits and

sickness away from children, and kite flying; for success and luck to fly it so high close to heaven

to make your wish come true.

Games like "Fukuwarai" are pretty simple and easy to play with small children.  Enjoy!
